Going through recruitment might be your first step in pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. In each chapter you'll meet women who are still constantly striving to be the best version of themselves. Though the process may seem scary at first, remember that we want you (yes you) to grow into who you really are and know we'll be there by your side along the way!

Round 3

Round 4

Bid Day!!

On Day 3, you'll return to at most 5 sororities to get a closer look into each sisterhood! You'll have the opportunity to engage in longer conversations and understand some of the deeper bonds within the chapters.

Also referred to as Preference, you'll return to at most 2 sororities. By this day, you will have met so many amazing women eager to show you the life-changing value their chapter has added to their lives. Our goal is to help you find your home and after this round, we hope you know exactly where that is!

Our favorite part of recruitment: Bid Day! This is the day you find out where your new home is! Seeing each chapter welcome new members with open arms into our sisterhood is an irreplaceable experience! We can't wait for you all to see what your new sisters have in store!

T I P S & T R I C K S !

BE OPEN

Try to find role models in the sisters you talk to, and even if you don't end up in their chapter, the conversations you have will make you learn a lot about yourself.

BE POSITIVE

If you continue to be yourself, have fun, and enter every party with a positive attitude, you're destined to find a chapter that is right for YOU. - Baraa Nawash, PC '17

-

BE PASSIONATE

Talk about things that interest you! Your passion and enthusiasm will speak volumes. Most importantly, HAVE FUN!

Margaret Shull, PC '15

BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF

The biggest piece of advice I got that helped me through formal recruitment was to not talk too much with other PNMs about the process, because all that really mattered was my opinion and I wanted to get the best chapter for me, not based on other people's experiences.

-

BE RELAXED

Sorority women want to impress you as much as you want to impress them. Honestly, they are probably more nervous than you are. With that in mind, try to be relaxed and view recruitment as a chance to meet lots of amazing women and eventually find your home in Greek life. As a former Rho Chi, everyone ends up where they are supposed to be.

Shelby Ovrom, PC '15

-

BE CONFIDENT

No matter what, be confident in yourself.  It can be intimidating walking into a room full of girls you don’t know, but remember that they were in your shoes not too long ago and are just as nervous about making you feel comfortable.  And as cliche as it sounds, trust the process and you’ll end up where you’re supposed to be.

Grace Moran, PC'17

-

BE COMFY

Always bring slippers or comfy shoes for before, between, and after parties!! Don’t be afraid to stand out with what you wear or what you say; be confident in who you are, whatever that may mean!

Eva Katsaros, PC '15

-

BE OPEN

Something that I found really helpful was actively keeping an open mind about every chapter despite stereotypes and making the most of every party and conversation I had by writing down one good thing about every chapter I went to each day.
