The new member education program is focused on introducing our new members to the values of Alpha Phi, showing our new members how our chapter lives these values, and connecting our new members with resources on campus. Working with Watchcare, each new member will be made to feel comfortable within the chapter and will experience a positive transition from PNM to sister. Near the end of the new member period, each new member will be matched with an older member who will act as their big sister, a role model and mentor, for the rest of their time in Alpha Phi and beyond. I hope that each new member feels as though they have a place in the chapter and understand the opportunity that the next four years in Alpha Phi presents to them by the end of the new member period.
