Health, Wellness, and Accountability

Being a part of Zeta Pi’s Alpha Phi chapter means being a part of an organization that fosters ongoing love, support, leadership, women’s empowerment, and much more.  The physical, emotional, and mental safety of every single woman in Alpha Phi is prioritized and adhered to through Case Western University’s policies and policies under The Fraternal Information and Programming Group (FIPG).  As VP, it is my responsibility to personally ensure that all Alpha Phi events are safe and that the women in our chapter are offered the support they need to prosper not only as students at CWRU, but to flourish as individual women as well.  Alpha Phi and CWRU Greek Life work together to maintain a Culture of Care and uphold a positive atmosphere through programs such as Watchcare, a creation of Alpha Phi’s founders that cultivates social communion while encouraging day-to-day support for one another.  Alpha Phi welcomes and encourages any and all young women to thrive as the best versions of themselves— all while being surrounded by an unfaltering sense of sisterhood!

Love and Aoe,
Jeanine Longo

Vice President of Health, Wellness, and Accountability

In addition to the implementation of and adherence to FIPG and CWRU risk management policy, our risk management department, in collaboration with our programming and education department, has received acclaim from the CWRU Greek Life Office and Alpha Phi International for our Watchcare program, which has been adapted by many chapters on campus. This program was set in place by our Founders and has grown beyond the simple yet powerful idea of supporting mutual growth. Our program ensures that our sisters feel encouraged and supported in all aspects of life, knowing that they have a Watchcare team and sisters to confide in. Not only are our sisters reminded of their support system through activities meant to strengthen their bonds with one another, but they are empowered and provided with the tools and resources they need to help themselves and others in areas regarding emotional and mental health, physical well-being, stress management, healthy relationships, and much more.
